Full Story

Electromyography (EMG) is a technique for evaluating and recording the electrical activity produced by skeletal muscles using surface electrodes or intramuscular needles, which is accomplished using the Neurotrac MyoPlus2 Pro.

The goal is to determine or detect muscle weakness or imbalances like muscles of the core (transverse abdominus), hip (gluteus medius/minimus), knee (vastus medialis) and shoulder (rotator cuff) by pacing electrodes on the relevant muscle sites and recording the muscle activity.

Once these imbalances are objectively measured can you then use the Neurotrac Myoplus2 Pro as a biofeedback tool to re-train the muscle weakness or imbalances or use it as a muscle stimulator to involuntary activate weak or atrophied muscles and neural pathways by stimulating the motor nerve at the muscle directly via the electrodes.
