Brenton beach walk
Who said that when you purchase your retirement home your life should become dull and boring? Not for a single moment when you buy your home from Sophie in Brenton-on-Sea!
Visit Sophie’s website or give her a call to find the residence that best suit your needs, where you can drink your first coffee in the morning on the porch watching the first rays upon sunrise.
Grab your phone or your laptop and all you need to do is to visit the Sophie’s Properties website’s blogs. You will find that there are a lot to do in and around Brenton-on-Sea, although it is a small town on the coast of the beautiful Garden Route in the Western Cape, South Africa.
Take a long stroll along the beach: From Brenton-on-Sea to Buffalo Bay is a 5 kilometre beach walk.
During low tide you can start the beach walk from Brenton-on-Sea, which offers the most beautiful and amazing scenic views of landscape, fynbos and sea. A photographer’s paradise with spectacular sunsets to capture on a camera well equipped with the latest and best lenses.
The 2 hour walk is for young and old and offers good meditation for your soul. If you are hot after the long walk during the summer months, you can cool down in the sea. Do take note that there is a backwash in some of the areas along the beach – please avoid these areas as the strong currents can swept you off into the deep blue ocean. Rather be safe and swim in the marked areas at Brenton-on-Sea and Buffalo Bay.
There is a small tuck shop in both Brenton-on-Sea and Buffalo Bay to buy snacks and cold drinks. Or treat yourself and the family to an exotic meal at one of the restaurants while watching the classic ocean view whilst enjoying a sundowner.
