Eco-Route Environmental Consultancy has been in operation for 12 years. Projects across South Africa have been successfully completed through Eco-Route Environmental Consultancy. Eco-Route is a family run company, headed by Dr. Colleen Ebersohn and daughter Janet Ebersohn (Bsc. Honours Degree in Environmental Management).

Eco-Route Environmental Consultancy focuses on Environmental Assessment and Management that involves the consideration and integration of both the biophysical and socio-economic aspects of the environment.

Eco-Route Environmental Consultancy co-ordinates, manages and integrates the various components of environmental assessment throughout the planning process. The Company implements the Environmental Regulations pertaining to these and other Environmental Laws that define the processes to be followed and the activities to be taken into consideration when applying for environmental authorization for any proposed development.

Eco-Route’s assessment practitioners shall carry out their professional activities, in accordance with emerging principles of sustainable development, the highest standards of environmental conservation and quality, and in compliance with applicable environmental regulations and legislations.

When you will require our services

If any of your proposed projects, activity’s or development’s triggers any relevant legislation in the following Government Notices:

Commencement of EIA Regulations 2010, published in Government Notice No R 543 on 18 June 2010, determine that the said regulations shall take effect on 2 August 2010. Listing Notice 1 (GN R 544) listing Notice 2 (GN R 545) and Listing Notice 3 (GN R 546) as published on 18 June 2010, under the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA).
