ituated on the banks of the Baakens River is the attractive Settlers Park Nature Reserve. The Park has a prolific bird life including small antelope. It offers an 8km walking trail which meanders through the scenic Baakens River Valley. This trail goes by the name of The Guinea Fowl Trail.
Settlers Park facilities include a flower display house, a Marquette of the 1820 Settlers' Statue, indigenous flora, rock pools with stepping-stones and grassed areas ideal for picnicking.
